- Guide and Inspire: Manage milieu behavior, developing, following, and modifying rewards and consequences using a proven point and level system.
- Foster Healthy Habits: Actively participate in group meals, supervising, managing, and role-modeling positive eating behaviors.
- Build Meaningful Connections: Balance building rapport with patients while fostering their comfort and confidence.
- Master Behavioral Techniques: Learn and apply effective behavior techniques to manage ineffective behaviors consistently and with compassion.
- Ensure Safe Transport: Safely transport patients to and from appointments or activities in a company vehicle, adhering to all safety, transportation, and patient care protocols, and maintaining vehicle condition.
- Contribute to a Greater Cause: Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall mission of our treatment center.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college/university, OR
- Two years of experience working within the mental health field or a residential treatment setting, OR
- Two years of experience working with children in an educational field.
- Comfort eating meals in a group setting and the ability to model positive eating habits.
- The ability to provide or obtain a San Diego County food handler's permit upon hire.
- The ability to provide or obtain CPR / BLS certification within 2 weeks of employment.
- At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to safely transport patients as needed using a company vehicle, ensuring their well-being and compliance with all safety and transportation protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on facility needs.
