- Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA, ISO 45001, and industry-specific standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Maintain and update safety documentation, including SDS records and hazard communication plans.
- Lead safety committee meetings and promote a culture of safety across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
- Assess training needs through analysis of job observations, reports of production defects, one-point-lessons, and individual performance data.
- Design and implement safety & operations onboarding, job-specific, and compliance training programs.
- Support the development of instructional materials, standardized work charts, job breakdown sheets, LOTOV procedures, visual work instructions, and multimedia content tailored to the needs of the site.
- Facilitate training sessions using various formats including lectures, simulations, and e-learning.
- Maintain and audit training records, certifications, and retraining schedules.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, job observations, and individual/product line performance metrics.
- Support migration of training documents and processes to shop floor management systems for training and record maintenance.
- Stay current with modern training technologies and instructional methodologies and develop business cases for migrating to newer systems or processes.
- Collaborate with department managers to align training with operational goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through targeted skill development.
- Mentor and coach training staff and subject matter experts.
- Coordinate with external vendors and certification bodies for specialized training.

- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Education, Industrial Engineering, or related field, required.
- 3+ years of experience in safety and training roles within a manufacturing environment, required.
- Experience with OSHA, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and NADCAP compliance standards, preferred.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, CPLP, or SHRM-CP/SCP, APM/PMP are highly desirable.
