This highly visible, guest-facing role ensures every trip is seamless from pre-arrival to farewell. It’s a unique combination of trip planning, sales, hosting, guest services, and light operations management, all wrapped in a warm, approachable, service-first personality.This is an ideal position for a hospitality professional with a love for the outdoors and a deep appreciation for high-touch, detail-driven guest experiences. The role can evolve to match your strengths and career goals, whether that’s in service, guest engagement, or operational leadership.Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for guests before and during their stay by managing communication, planning, facility maintenance, and personalized touches to ensure a smooth and unforgettable experience.
Greet guests upon arrival and serve as their host throughout their stay, ensuring they feel welcomed, cared for, and remembered.
Collaborate with guides, the culinary team, and lodge staff to coordinate daily itineraries and logistics.
Oversee and execute reservation systems and guest records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist with retail, wine, and merchandise inventory and presentation.
Support social media and digital marketing efforts by capturing photos, sharing stories, or developing light content, as desired.
Participate in evening service or special events when needed to maintain the high service standard for which the lodge is known.
Provide on-site leadership with flexibility and autonomy, helping the team thrive during both routine days and high-pressure moments.
Qualifications:Required:
2+ years in hospitality and/or outdoor adventure travel
2+ years in reservations, guest services, travel planning, or sales
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently and on your feet
Meticulous attention to detail and organization
Willingness to relocate to Ennis, Montana (housing may be available)
Preferred:
Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
Strong digital fluency: graphic design, photography, video, or email marketing
Retail and inventory management experience
Intermediate or advanced wine knowledge
Strong familiarity with Montana geography and culture
Strong fly fishing experience (from enthusiast to expert!)
Perks:
Compensation: $60,00 - $70,000
Annual bonus based on lodge performance
