We look forward to hearing from you!Network Automation Engineer.Location: RemoteDuration: 6+ Months Contract$70 - $75/hr on W2Role Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows for server onboarding and data center provisioning.
Build and optimize Ansible playbooks, Python scripts, and REST API integrations.
Collaborate with Software Engineers and UX teams to align backend automation with the self-service portal.
Integrate automation with ServiceNow and enterprise platforms to eliminate manual tasks.
Apply Agile and DevOps practices: sprints, backlog grooming, CI/CD, code reviews, and pair programming.
Ensure error handling, automated testing, and reliable deployment of automation workflows.
Provide knowledge transfer through documentation, demos, and peer collaboration.

Skills Required:Core Technical Skills:

Python, Ansible, YAML
REST APIs and ServiceNow integration
Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
Networking fundamentals (VLANs, port configs, provisioning)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

Process & Methodology Skills:

Agile development (sprints, backlog management, standups, retrospectives)
DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation frameworks)
Automated testing and validation
Clear technical documentation

Soft Skills:

Strong collaboration in cross-functional Agile teams
Effective communication with engineers and stakeholders
Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
Adaptability to changing priorities
Knowledge sharing and mentoring through pair programming and reviews

Preferred/Optional Skills:

Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Docker/Kubernetes experience
Monitoring/observability tools
Security automation knowledge
