- Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
- Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as building members, columns, joists, frames, stairs, railings and other parts, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.
- Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
- Cuts work piece, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife.
- Observes tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate instruments.
- Removes rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
- Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.
- Experience with structural steel projects including buildings, industrial structures and bridges
- AWS Certified Welder
- Must be 18yrs of age or older
- Experienced with Flux-Cored (FCAW), Metal-Cored (MCAW), Gas-Shielded Metal Cored (GMAW-C) Welding processes.
- Must be able to pass a weld test (administered as part of the interview process).
- Able to physically perform task requirements including lifting 65 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work extended hours.
- Able to consistently arrive ready to work at the start of shift
- Must have your own Welding PPE
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job site/s
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
