
Scientific IS Business Analyst (Sr Associate) – R&D Omics

- Function as a Scientific Business Systems Analyst within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) product team
- Serve as a liaison between global Research Informatics functional areas and global research scientists, prioritizing their needs and expectations
- Translate complex scientific and technological needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and scientific progress in Omics techniques, including data generation, processing, and analysis
- Develop documentation, communication plans and training plans for end users
- Ensure operational excellence, cybersecurity and compliance.
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US and other international locations
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- 2+ years of experience in implementing and supporting biopharma scientific software platforms.
- Knowledge in bioinformatics, various Omics technologies and data analysis
- Experience with scientific laboratory instruments, laboratory data management
- Demonstrated expertise in a scientific domain area and related technology needs
- Experience with writing user requirements and acceptance criteria in agile project management systems such as JIRA
- Experience with cloud (e.g. AWS) and on-premises infrastructure
- High degree of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge in current AI (LLMs, Agentic AI) technologies
- Linux, system administration and software development
- Experience in configuration and administration of platforms such as Benchling, or other LIMS systems
- Understanding the implementation of scientific software platforms
- In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles for coordinated solutions and teams via the SAFe agile framework.
- Knowledge of business analysis best practices, DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodology
- SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills
