Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum to spark curiosity and support holistic growth.
  • Classroom Management: Build a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and positive interactions.
  • Family Communication: Foster strong partnerships with families through regular updates, conferences, and collaborative goal-setting to enhance each child's journey.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure top-tier supervision during all activities, adhering to licensing standards and promoting wellness for every child.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning through workshops, peer collaboration, and school-supported certifications to stay at the forefront of early education.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Thoughtfully observe and document progress, using insights to tailor experiences and celebrate milestones with families.

Qualifications – We're Looking for Top Talent:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred.
  • Associate's, Certificate of Mastery, or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required.
  • At least 2 years of lead teaching experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting, with a proven track record of innovative instruction.
  • Completion of state-required pre-service training and ongoing professional development.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to actively engage with children, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
