What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order processing, ERP data entry, and supplier coordination. You’ll play a critical part in keeping operations running smoothly by supporting purchasing, logistics, and customer service functions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry (Primary Focus):
  • Enter purchase orders into Great Plains (GP)/ERP system.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all systems.
  • Process incoming customer orders, confirmations, and delivery schedules.
  • Purchasing & Supplier Coordination:
  • Review daily material needs; issue purchase orders.
  • Expedite or delay deliveries as needed.
  • Interact with suppliers for scheduling, error resolution, and credits.
  • Maintain raw material compliance matrix and required documentation.
  • Logistics & Customer Service:
  • Follow up on purchase orders and logistics appointments.
  • Communicate with customers to verify and clarify orders or shipments.
  • Provide backup support to the customer service team using provided templates.
  • Accounting & Administrative Support (Backup):
  • Serve as backup for Accounts Payable/Receivable in ERP.
  • Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and general office duties.
  • Order and manage office supplies.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 1–3 years of experience in order entry, data entry, administrative support, or a related office role.
  • Strong computer literacy, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Great Plains preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
