- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with access control procedures and provide information as required.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following site-specific response plans.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
