- Managing the profitability of the team, contributing to the overall success of the business unit and company at large.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline throughout Southern California region.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality, timely, and value-added environmental services to clients. This includes expertise in areas such as asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, site assessments, site remediation, and related environmental disciplines.
- Conduct and manage field work, including site inspections, sample collection, and environmental assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents for client use, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Interface with clients at a technical level, leveraging strong communication skills to address concerns, provide updates, and offer expert advice.
- Develop cost estimates and proposals for environmental projects, taking into account factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Manage assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in engineering, environmental studies, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of proven leadership experience, combining a strong seller/doer mindset with a track record of driving business growth and delivering technical excellence.
- Must possess deep market insight and a comprehensive understanding of the Southern California region.
- Possession of Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) or Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) is a must.
- California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead certification is a plus
- Completion of the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.
