
Tool Set-Up Technician-1st Shift

- Prepare necessary tooling for the net scheduled work orders using established and documented best practices. Coordinate, assist, lead, and direct press tolling setup activities in accordance with the communicated production schedule targets.
- Establish and document best practices of the tooling readiness process. Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to procedures for tooling changeovers.
- Maintain active production tooling in good working condition. Execute disposition of obsolete tooling as directed.
- Complete all computer work and paperwork neatly and correctly as directed. Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Comply with company labor policies, safety rules, and regulations.
- Take advantage of opportunities to develop self, actively participating in company betterment activities where possible.
- Perform any other duties as assigned or required.

- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Manufacturing Experience
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity skills
- Ability to perform detailed work requiring continuous concentration.
- Ability to certify in forklift operation and other equipment as necessary.
- Knowledge of operating methods and procedures as they relate to their daily tasks.
- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Strong communication and employee relations skills. Capable of influencing others in a confident, positive, and results-oriented manner.
- Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures. Interfaces and cooperates with first line supervision effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions in a manner which will consistently meet supervisor expectations.

- The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
