
Power & Industrial Structural Engineer

- Design and develop plans and drawings, which may include the development of preliminary layout and/or final drawings.
- Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
- Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
- Assist engineers with Structures plan production tasks.
- Develop engineering calculations under the supervision of senior structural engineers.
- Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
- EXPERIENCE:
- 0-2 years of experience in a related technical field.
- EDUCATION:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited college/university
- SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Math skills to perform calculations; willingness to learn.
- Candidate must have a valid US driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with AutoCAD and FEM software (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrates initiative and collaborates effectively across teams
- Capable of working independently while actively contributing to team goals
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS:
- E.I. or E.I.T. or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (strongly preferred)
