- Interact with manufacturing to implement production processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe lab and test raft.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance test and inspection procedures.
- Perform analysis to support production, sales and research in a timely and reliable manner.
- Make appropriate recommendations, suggestions for improvement, or take appropriate corrective actions to ensure quality production and cost target attainment.
- Provide clear, accurate and concise verbal and written communication regarding any and all projects, lab results, R&D, and product testing.
- Organize and track, by documentation of field test, lab test and raft testing.
- Organizing and prioritizing Technical Task List as directed and provided by upper management.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical data sheets, MSDS sheets, technical bulletins, and application guidelines for new and existing products.
- Utilize various research methods find, develop, and test new and existing ingredients and qualify and maintain an approved vendor and raw material list.
- Organize and maintain production formulas accuracy in accordance with FDA guidelines, and ensure manufacturing processes.
- Driving engagement and managing talent development and succession planning.
- Execute projects of up to 5MY with minimal guidance of line manager every 6-12 months.
- Independently plan and run project trials with the project team.

- Lead and delegate the work (Complaints, Tasks LWR and projects) within the Packagning team, according to the prioritization set for the projects and the LWRS, with the technical Manager, and the technical leaders for the projects. All projects should be well defined with a clear product brief and delivery date
- A degree within chemistry, preferably PhD or Master of Science. Relevant areas are Organic chemistry, Polymer chemistry, Physical chemistry,
- 5 years of practical experience of product development or minimum of 8-10 ten years of industry experience.
- The position requires good skills in English, and strong communication skills - ability to communicate within the R&D team and with stakeholders.
o Can simplify and teach complex technical concepts to junior chemists.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet customer or project deadlines.
- Ability to deal with and work in environment with high level of ambiguity
- Familiarity with necessary laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements.
- Knowledge of Packaging coatings, chemical properties, scientific principles, potential hazards and laboratory expertise.
- Be a role model of safe work environment practices and ability to perform all laboratory activities in a safe and effective manner.
- Strong relationship building skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage others time to efficiently perform all required tasks.
