- Develop validation plans for mechanical systems and components aligned with performance and reliability targets
- Execute test plans, gather and record data, and analyze results to provide actionable feedback
- Collaborate with engineering teams to correlate physical test data with simulation outputs (e.g., FEA, CFD)
- Coordinate field testing efforts and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Support continuous improvement of testing capabilities, methods, and instrumentation
- Specify and source test equipment, components, sensors, and tools
- Participate in design reviews and FMEA sessions to inform validation strategies
- Develop reliability predictions from test data to support product development
- Document testing procedures and results in compliance with ISO and ASABE standards
- Operate and become proficient in client-specific agricultural equipment
- Manage workload to meet deadlines, adapting to changing priorities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in product validation, testing, or a closely related engineering discipline
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through education, professional roles, or hands-on experience
- Familiarity with testing tools and analysis software (e.g., SolidWorks, HBM Somat eDAQ, etc.) is a plus
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple test projects simultaneously
