- Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of both the hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis departments.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies necessary for dialysis treatment.
- Oversee the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and patient education programs.
- Act as a resource and support for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and questions.
- Prepare and submit reports on clinic performance and outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the clinic.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members. Providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities to ensure staff meetings and in-services elevate your staff performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and open communication.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, their families, and the local community.
- Support the clinical staff to ensure patient treatments are uninterrupted.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and active state nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in the dialysis field.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with previous experience in a clinical or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and reports.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft OFFICE, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
