Employee Benefits Account Manager
Experience: 2-4 years
Onsite: SouthingtonAs Employee Benefits Account Manager you will
  • Function as the primary contact for specific employee benefits accounts for service requests and issues.
  • Manage the renewal process including; holding internal and external pre-renewal strategy meetings, directing the marketing process, and assisting in the preparation of the renewal proposal.
  • Establish, implement, and manage service timelines that meet client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their employees on any claims, enrollment, or billing issues.
  • Communicate and consult with clients on compliance requirements including, but not limited to ACA, Annual Notices, SPDs, and 5500s
  • Continuously stay up-to-date on what is changing in the industry
  • Ensure the Agent Management System is current
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Advisors and other team members to provide benefit guides, open enrollment materials, proposals, and other resources

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
