This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following:
  • Replenish needed food and supplies by retrieving items from the kitchen and storerooms to ensure adequate food amounts are always maintained.
  • Set up buffet food bar as instructed by manager through verbal and/or written communication.
  • Recommend and describe buffet items to guests using a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
  • Visually check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up, cleanliness and aesthetically appealing presentation of food bar
  • Lift and place trays of food into the buffet bar efficiently and quietly and according to safety standards.
