
Advanced Solder - 2nd Shift - Components Division

- Assemble printed circuit boards using work instructions, layout drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards
- Perform advanced soldering on production assemblies, rework, and engineering requests including RMAs, ECOs, and prototypes
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure all assemblies meet IPC quality standards
- Operate tools and equipment including small hand tools, torque tools, scales, rulers, calculators, and computers
- Support various workstations as needed, including Heat Sink, Pre-Assembly, Kitting, and more
- Handle repetitive, fast-paced, and accurate hand insertion of electronic components
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure production goals are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company policies related to ESD control, safety, and quality
- Frequent use of fine finger dexterity, neck flexion, and overhead reaching
- Frequent handling of circuit boards, components, and tools using both hands
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 11–25 lbs regularly and 26–50 lbs occasionally
- Occasional bending at knees and waist
- Requires close and midrange vision, depth perception, and physical balance
- Ability to sit, stand, or alternate between the two for extended periods
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Advanced Solder Training per IPC standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in soldering to IPC-7711/7721 standards for rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies
- Ability to interpret schematics and assembly documentation to build products to quality specifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment preferred
