- Working with the company’s business process leaders – Global IT Director - and senior business stakeholders, the business architect plays a key part in shaping and fostering continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives.
- The business architect fleshes out the business model - often referred to as the target operating model or ‘Vision’ - describing the business process and technology across the organization.
- Must have deep business process knowledge across a range of industries and have managed Oracle e-Business Suite process transformations per industry best practice.
- Specifically, must have comprehensive knowledge of large-scale, cross-functional Oracle e-Business Suite processes - such as product lifecycle management, supply chain management, warehouse management, discrete and process manufacturing, finance, or customer resource management (CRM) – as well as extensive experience with core, strategic line-of-business processes relevant to the client.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud HCM with a focus on Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Recruiting is an added advantage
- Must be able to not only see the big picture when looking across multiple process improvement initiatives, but must also have business strategy talents and technology know-how. The business architect must have a combination of business domain knowledge, process experience, transformation talents, methodology skills, and a winning personality that helps with communication and business change management.
- The business architect also helps set the direction for operations leaders. To execute a transformation vision, the business architect will rely on the actions of business leaders, Directors and managers, and other business process owners.
- As a business architect, you should know how to think strategically and recognize the relationships between a company's processes, capabilities, technological systems and employees. As a leader, you should have extensive experience creating business models and synthesizing different types of data to determine how they affect an organization and business issues.
- Reviewing and managing functional and technical implementation deliverables covering all phases of the systems lifecycle while providing feedback to the Global IT Director. This includes managing all aspects of an Oracle ERP Project lifecycle process, including project timelines, scope, budgets, resources, and delivery.
- The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to act as a liaison between the information technology group and business managers. This position must also work well in groups, have strong negotiation skills, and be highly analytical.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in Information Technology in an Oracle ERP/Financials/Manufacturing environment across multiple industries.
- 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Cloud HCM
- Subject matter expertise on end-to-end business process flows per industry best practices in the domain area of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, demand-to-build, financials and customer relationship management.
- Successful track record of innovation for IT solution delivery aligned to business strategy.
- Ability to work within a small team, deliver quality, timely work independently, strong written and verbal communication skills, independent research and analysis, good organization and workload management, self-starter, excellent work ethic, and integrity.
- Project Management Professional Certification desired.
