Bachelor’s Degree in social work, education, or other human services field required.2. Broad knowledge of public and private human services and resources.3. Knowledge of child development and family interactions.4. Ability to communicate effectively and to develop rapport with children, youth, parents, school staff,community agency staff, business, and community leaders.5. Experience in working with low income families and children.6. Willingness to work irregular hours when necessary.7. Must provide own transportation.8. Knowledge of the geographic area.9. This would include bothpaid and volunteer workers.3.7 Assists in the evaluation and monitoring of all program components including goals, objectives, tasks,and timeliness from the work plan.3.8 Assures compliance with all Board of Education, local and state reporting requirements and evaluationsystems.3.9 Promotes and facilitates the delivery of direct services.3.10 Seeks additional funding for the FR/YSC Program.3.11 Assumes responsibility for disseminating information in regard to the Center.3.12 Makes home visits as necessary to promote the goals of the FR/YSC program.3.13 Promotes the development of additional or supplemental community resources.3.14 Assumes responsibility for disseminating information in regard to the Center.3.15 Maintains current knowledge of the FR/YSC program's rules, regulations, requirements and restrictions.3.16 Develops and participates in outreach strategies for the delivery of services.3.17 Serves on and works collaboratively with the Center's Advisory Council and the local Multi-agencyCouncil.3.18 Maintains and provides for the Center's Resource/Lending Library materials.3.19 Organizes and supervises the maintenance of an accurate system of record keeping. Keeps complete,up-to-date, and accurate records as required by law, policy, and administrative regulations.3.20 Prepares and maintains an inventory of services offered by community health and welfare agencies.3.21 Presents a positive image of the program to the community, and conveys to them the program's genuineconcern with the education growth, and development of each child.3.22 Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
