- Managing multiple functions of building operations and maintenance of the facility to ensure all issues are addressed promptly. This includes serving as a liaison between program customers including customer points of contact at assigned site locations. Oversite for services such as custodial, equipment maintenance, repairs/maintenance and occasionally, capital improvement coordination. Responsible for coordination with vendors for service and repairs.
- 24/7 point of contact for building emergencies and response coordination.
- Works with the management team in assessing requirements, engineering evaluations and solutions, planning for modification or additional facility upgrades/improvements. Works with the management team to help with vendor management, obtain quotes, work orders, scheduling, and approvals for work to be completed.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with building tenants and landlord.
- Prepares monthly status reports for service ticket status, open tickets and summarizing monthly operations for each site assigned.
- Responsibilities include the support of multiple facilities in the Colorado and California regions. Candidates will be required to sit onsite, with occasional travel to other assigned sites.
- Supports management team with construction and renovation projects, and ensures that facilities meet environmental, health and security standards, as well as compliance with Government regulations.
- Coordinates with EHS environmental hazard management/planning and remediation.
- Establishes and maintains equipment and system standards.
- TS/SCI level clearance is required
- Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA – or - 9+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and general construction.
- Familiar with blueprints, architectural terminology, building codes and competitive bid procedures.
- Experience working in fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple internal customer groups.
- Must be a self-starter comfortable working independently and able to effectively coordinate with remote manager.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior management, peers, vendors and tenants, providing excellent internal and external customer service.
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment with irregular work schedule to include after-hours responses.
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings on occasion.
- Must be willing to travel to facilities throughout the west coast.
- Experience managing SCIF construction is preferred.
