Learn more at ProHealthCare.orgSchedule: day shiftFull Time BenefitsFTE: 1.00The Cancer Registar is responsible for establishing and maintaining efficient operation of the Cancer Registry by abstracting and following patients with a diagnosis of a tumor, retrieving and analyzing registry data, and disseminating the data in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and budget of the organization.Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 semesters of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Preferred education of Cancer Information Management (CIM), Cancer Registry Management (CRM) or Health Information Management (HIM)
  • Eligible to sit for the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) exam within three years of hire.
  • Preferred License of Registered Health Information Admin (RHIA); Registered HealthInformation Tech (RHIT); Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
  • Abillity to work onsite at the UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care location, located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin
