- Minimum of three years of progressive administrative and supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Valid New York State driver's license meeting agency standards, with reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
- Supervise and coordinate nursing professionals and dietary department staff in both residential and day program settings.
- Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of all medical policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current across the agency.
- Maintain effective interdepartmental communication to ensure quality medical care, including oversight of on-site audits.
- Optimize and monitor the cross-check system in Residential and Day Programs; report findings to Quality Assurance.
- Participate in and serve on multiple committees and attend meetings as assigned or as needed.
- Engage in ongoing personal and professional development and complete all mandated training requirements.
- Oversee medical systems and lead the implementation of new systems as assigned.
- Direct the daily operations of the nursing department to ensure timely medical referrals, effective response to emergencies, and delivery of necessary care.
