SummaryPreparation of monthly schedules, journal vouchers and reconciliations, audit work papers, and assisting with financial statement and statistical reporting for Confluence Health, Wenatchee Valley Medical Group and the Foundation.Position Reports To: Accounting Supervisor
Essential FunctionsPrepare schedules and computations for various monthly journal entries.Play a key role in the analysis and preparation of monthly financial statements. Identify and research budget variances.Prepare and post journal entries for monthly financial statements.Reconcile various general ledger accounts.Assist with the annual audit of the organization. Prepare lead schedules for audit and work with external auditors to explain documentation/processes.Gather statistical information for financial reporting.Work with other departments regarding G/L, A/P, budget and payroll questions.Perform some deposit and banking functions.Represent Accounting on cross-departmental teams. Identify opportunities for efficiency in processes and systems.Provide support to other accounting staff and/or leadership utilizing the general ledger, accounts payable, and other reporting for both monthly and adhoc requests.Provide information in a useful manner from our various accounting systems to assist leadership in their decision making.Perform testing of the accounting information systems when patches or upgrades are in process. * Performs other duties as assigned.Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance. * Personal computers and electronic spreadsheet experience.
