Position OverviewThis position requires the ability to produce accurate work with attention to detail, problem solving, and flexibility. Includes operate hands on assembly, production of hydraulic hoses and assembly of components to factory specification for industrial customers, CNC lathes, warehouse duties, and machining. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and looking for a career. This is a position that will result in certification as a hose assembly technician upon completion of the required training and the demonstration of necessary skills.The perfect candidate will have a take charge personality with good multi-tasking and communication skillsEssential Job Functions:
  • Hose Crimping, following all hose assembly procedures as explained and demonstrated per written instruction
  • Assembly of components to factory specification.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM programs
  • Operate CNC lathe to manufacture components to precise specifications.
  • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries using forklifts or pallet jacks when required.
  • Pick and pack goods for store and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.
Requirements and Experience
  • Understand the effects of high-pressure assemblies, if assembled incorrectly could result in serious injury to the operator
  • Must collaborate with other departments such as warehouse, order processing, sales, etc. being a team player.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP system, and PC based software programs (MS Office)
  • Good organizational capability and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve all goals
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Knowledge of hydraulic fluid power and experience with related products or services preferred.
  • Positive and uplifting attitude
