
Projects Sales Representative

- Business Development:
- Identify and qualify potential clients within the target market (industrial, commercial).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts (engineers, contractors, architects).
- Attend industry events (trade shows, conferences) to generate leads and build relationships
- Project Development:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients.
- Conduct site visits, perform system assessments, and gather project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and develop optimal HVAC solutions.
- Prepare and submit project bids and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Address client concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including:
- Air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Heating systems (boilers, chillers, etc.)
- Building automation systems (BAS)
- Energy-efficient technologies
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Sales Performance:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Track and report sales activity and performance metrics.
- Continuously improving sales strategies and techniques.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC industry, preferably within the industrial or commercial sector.
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Minimum of three years of experience with self-generated direct sales.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in the HVAC industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
