- Collaborates with hiring managers on staffing, including facilitating recruitment and hiring processes, obtaining temporary services, and leading onboarding of new hires.
- Lead and facilitate termination and offboarding processes.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers and employees (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues and conducts effective and objective investigations.
- Collaborates broadly across the operations function to create a streamlined and positive employee experience that represents company culture, behaviors and values.
- Collaborate with the operations team to problem solve and strengthen company administration and culture.
- Lead and facilitate the annual performance review process.
- Collaborate with the finance team and payroll vendor to coordinate and execute payroll.
- Update and maintain critical employment and compliance documentation.
- Design, manage and administer employment benefits, including annual renewals, open enrollment and rolling enrollment.
- Develops, coordinates, and delivers annual training such as harassment prevention and supervisory training.
- Develops and implements HR policy and provides guidance and interpretation.
- Maintains working knowledge of legal requirements related to compliance, reducing legal risks and day-to-day management of employees.
- A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required. An HR certification or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of related work experience required.
- A track record of demonstrated results in association or nonprofit HR.
- Experience serving as an internal consultant on personnel matters desirable.
- Ability to be productive and drive results in the face of ambiguity.
