Infectious Disease PhysicianWe are seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a full-time and 100% outpatient-focused opportunity in Harrisburg, PA! Our organization is focused on helping individuals live longer, feel more energized, and maintain independence for as long as possible.This provider position will report directly to the CMO, directly responsible for overseeing, directing, and coordinating all health services provided under the Adult Medical Unit at the Center ensuring the efficient delivery of quality healthcare to all Adult Medicine patients in the ambulatory, in-patient and primary care setting, Provides direct patient care and is responsible for the administration and supervision of the medical Department and working closely with service components of the Center while maintaining standard of professional physician care.Compensation Package:
  • $200,000 to $300,000 ++ Base Salary (Based Experience)

Requirements:
  • Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM (if you finish early you can go home)
  • No Weekends, No Late Nights, and No Holidays
  • 1 Weekend (8 AM to 12 PM) Every 8 Months
  • On Call Very Minimal and By Phone Only
  • One Late Evening (Until 8 PM) Every 6 Weeks
  • Board Certified in Infectious Disease Preferred - Internal Medicine Accepted
  • Current and Active Pennsylvania Medical License
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience
  • Must have experience with HIV and STD
  • Seeing 8 to 12 Patients Per Day Patients Per Day
  • Passion for Working with Those In the Local Community
Responsibilities:
  • Provide for the medical needs of the Center’s patients according to the HHC health care plan and patient compliance.
  • Provide Physician oversight to the HOPE program.
  • Provide basic examinations to our adult patient population as part of their physical examination according to the HHC health care plan and the patient’s compliance.
  • Perform complete physical examinations in the adult population and conduct annual health appraisals of Center registrants.
  • Evaluate and manage health problems, both on a primary basis and a consultative basis.
  • Participation in support health services, staff training, e.g. history-taking by nursing staff, performance of simple medical procedures such as urine collections, blood pressure determinations, etc.
  • Provide for the management of acute new problems as well as existing chronic problems, documenting patient history ensuring accurate, complete and timely documentation in the EMR system.
