
Staff Technical Program Manager, Hardware Sensing

- Lead Programs: Drive end-to-end delivery of complex health sensing features across hardware, firmware, software, science, and design - from concept to launch.
- Align Teams: Bridge disciplines, manage tradeoffs, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth cross-functional execution.
- Plan & Execute: Build and maintain schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans; proactively clear roadblocks.
- Communicate: Provide clear, tailored updates to executives, engineers, and partners; align on strategy and progress.
- Manage Vendors: Oversee key external partners for sensor development and manufacturing.
- Ensure Quality: Own testing and validation standards to deliver reliable, high-quality products.
- Shape Practices: Establish best practices, mentor senior team members, and foster a collaborative culture.
- 10+ years experience managing full product lifecycle across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing.
- Proven track record shipping innovative products with sensing components (consumer electronics/health tech preferred).
- Strong technical depth in EE, ME, firmware, or embedded software; able to drive architecture and technical tradeoffs.
- Hardware + Software expertise: Skilled in NPI, prototyping, validation, scalable production, and Agile software development.
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration: Experienced working with research, science, and design teams to turn insights into products.
- Excellent communicator with strong negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced PM tool proficiency (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) and ability to optimize workflows.
- Thrives in ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and global cross-timezone programs.
- Passion for health, wellness, and wearable technology.
- Experience with regulated medical devices (ISO 13485, FDA).
- Knowledge of advanced health sensors and ultra-low-power development.
- Experience with global manufacturing and supply chains.
