Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
  • Follow all company and site-specific protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience or possess a college degree.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the job state and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
