1. Responsible for day-to-day Accounts Payable Operations including: Reviewing invoices, Oversee Company Credit Card Program, Customer Service
2. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement
3. Hire, lead, train, retain and develop team members
4. Strive to make a difference through continued development of leadership and business acumen skills
5. Provide feedback and recommendations to management on staffing, production, and budgetary needs
6. Maintain professional contact/communication with other departments/associates
7. Prepare periodic and special reports utilizing statistical data (productivity rates, error rates, liability, and various month end reports)
8. Ensure that all functions are performed accurately and timely
9. Complete monthly, quarterly and annual performance evaluations (if applicable)
10. Ensure adherence to Nelnet policies and guidelines
11. Foster an innovative environment
12. Work with Manager in the implementation of team goalsEXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingEXPERIENCE:
1. 4 years in an Accounting related capacity
2. 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership positionCOMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
