- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and performance drivers
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within business intelligence platforms through ongoing validation and monitoring
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for data and reporting solutions
- Manage and optimize databases, including the design, development, and testing of data capture, transformation, and integration processes
- Clean, filter, and validate data; troubleshoot reporting errors and resolve performance issues
- Continuously improve data workflows and quality control processes to enhance the reliability and value of analytics
- Provide oversight for testing, support, and quality assurance efforts related to data systems and BI initiatives
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures for data collection, processing, and analysis
- Partner with IT to support the implementation of software and hardware upgrades aligned with analytics and reporting needs
- Monitor the effectiveness of financial models and reporting strategies, recommending adjustments as necessary
- Evaluate and apply new analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities
- Lead and support project management efforts for business intelligence initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals
- Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, sales, marketing and other stakeholders.
- Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
- Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.
- Develop the automation of recurring reports and support ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast financial outcomes such as revenue, expenses, and market trends.
- Produce and update the monthly finance forecast and annual sales budget, integrating historical trends, external market signals, and inputs from marketing and sales.
- Assists with questions regarding sales performance, deviations from forecast, potential countermeasures, pricing, etc.
- Proactively develop, coordinate, conduct and/or provide training for users as needed
- Supports Finance and cross-functional teams as needed and/or required.
- Attends meetings as required and/or assigned.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
- May be required to travel up to 10% of the time
- Complies with safety rules and guidelines
- Strong programming and analytical skills using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel (including macros/scripting) for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, SAP, Redshift) along with proficiency in Power BI for dashboarding and data storytelling.
- Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and financial modeling, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex data to support business decisions.
- Deep understanding of financial concepts and business drivers, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a data science context.
- Skilled in querying, reporting tools, and working with relational databases and cloud-based data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated strengths in problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a methodical, self-driven approach to tasks and projects.

- Strong attention to detail, time management skills and a self-starter approach.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of relevant work experience required
- Industry experience strongly encouraged
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Base: $89,000 to $122,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
