
Maintenance inventory clerk

- Receive, verify, and inspect incoming inventory part shipments for accuracy in the Maximo system, and file packing slips according to vendor.
- Coordinate and perform activities to reconcile and maintain inventory records, including conducting cycle counts to verify item quantities as well as reviewing and verifying product transactions entered in the inventory database.
- Investigate inventory errors: determining root causes, recommending and obtaining approval for adjustments and making corrections in the system.
- Work with the maintenance team to add/subtract parts from the system, label parts, locate/place parts, and set up minimum/maximum levels.
- Perform daily checks of parts used and needed with the maintenance team.
- Assist the Wastewater Treatment Plant to maintain parts and equipment inventory.
- Assist the Maintenance team with Maximo items such as closing work orders, documenting parts used on work orders and filing the work orders.
- Assist technicians in locating special orders and as needed items.
- Help the technicians with parts and software.
- Perform other general administrative duties as needed including filing, data entry, copying, and taking calls.
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Safety Protocol

- Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
- Support safety policies and programs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two (2) years of related maintenance/inventory control experience preferred.
- Forklift certified (asset)
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with executives, managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
