- Assist in creating test procedures for the current backlog items under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help define tests for backlog items and support the estimation of tasks needed for creating manual tests.
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards and procedures.
- Assist in developing and executing software test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Integration, Migration, Regression, and Performance testing.
- Help identify system and software problems, record defect backlog items, and report testing results under supervision.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation.
- Assist in mapping tasks and tests to backlog items to ensure requirements traceability.
- Provide support during independent User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with the product team, supporting teammates, and contributing to team success with a positive attitude.
- Participate in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases.
- Assist in defining automated testing components in collaboration with developers and product managers.
- Support the design of test scenarios and test plans for automated tests under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in creating project resource estimates, metrics to track completion phases, defect reports, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s agile project lifecycle.
- Assist in running test validations at various levels, including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation, under supervision.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include, but not limited to:
- 3-year check for felony convictions
- 1-year check for illegal drug use
- 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation is a plus.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is desirable but not required.
