
HR Generalist - Provider HR Operations - Full Time - Days

- In collaboration with HR Director/VP develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Serve as a point of contact to aligned business partners for all HR-related needs and initiatives.
- Provide strategic HR consulting and coaching, influencing leaders relative to necessary business actions.
- Provide consultation to business leaders and employees on, workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organizational excellence, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion.
- Participates in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations matters, such as working conditions, conflict resolutions, and disciplinary actions.
- Utilize HR analytics to support staffing plans and identify cost savings initiatives.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives.
- Collaborate with Operations in any new business ventures.
- Assist with strategic workforce planning, discussing employee career paths with managers, and recommending suitable developmental strategies to meet professional and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with corporate Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Organizational
- Excellence to optimize the tools and resources of these teams in support of strategic goals and objectives.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Work with or refer employees to others for appropriate issue resolution, e.g., benefits questions, leaves of absence, etc.
- Timely responses to unemployment claims
- Function as an internal consultant clarifying the proper application of HR policies and programs; investigate concerns and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues, either directly or through advice to management.
- Provides HR customer service to employees and managers of all levels. Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully resolve a very high percentage of inquiries that come to HR. Utilizes good judgment in escalating HR concerns and issues to the appropriate HRBP or Leader.
- Maximizes the use of Human Resource software and systems for retrieval and sharing of information.
- Responsible for investigating complex employee corrections (i.e., MyTime, Payroll, etc.) and submitting the appropriate changes as required.
- Responsible for maintaining both physical and electronic employee files and information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Maintain current knowledge on compliance and regulation standards as related to employment and Human Resources matters.
- Represents Human Resources and/or chairs councils and committees as assigned.
- Coordinates all projects, meetings, and events for the Human Resource Department.
- Skilled in answering a high volume of phone calls and directing calls appropriately as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in all MS Office and HRIS software applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, and investigative procedures.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with all levels of employees across the organization, including executive leadership.
- Able to work in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • A high level of confidentiality and demonstrated good judgment.
- Must handle highly sensitive matters in a timely and professional manner.
