- Operations Management:
- Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day salon operations.
- Oversee scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet client demand.
- Ensure the salon is clean, well-maintained, and adheres to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure products are well-stocked and properly displayed.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all staff deliver exceptional service and create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Handle escalated customer issues and work to resolve them efficiently.
- Team Leadership:
- Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and developing salon staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and provide ongoing training.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in managing the salon’s budget and financial performance.
- Monitor sales, track performance metrics, and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Coordinate promotional events and special offers.
- Manage the salon’s social media presence and engage with the online community.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage special projects, such as salon renovations, new service launches, or community events.
- Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the General Manager and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of client appointments, sales, and inventory.
- Prepare and submit reports to the General Manager on salon performance and staff productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all salon policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a salon or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge and passion for natural hair care and styling.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in salon management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in project management, including planning, executing, and closing projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in cosmetology, business management, or project management is a plus.
