- Owns and executes new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing onboarding content, conducting sessions, sharing
- Ensures integrity and compliance of candidate and new hire data in the applicant tracking system.
- Monitors the applicant data and follows up with the candidate on missing data.
- Completes I9's with new hires and ensures full compliance with needed documentation.
- Conducts necessary background checks and reference checks on candidates prior to the candidate starting with Connection
- Provides applicant tracking system (ICIMS) reporting
- Manages employee records file maintenance (paper and/or electronic) to ensure completeness of new hire paperwork, proper filing of all documents, and organization of terminated employee files.
- Manages assigned HR programs such as the employee referral, computer loan, and volunteer time off programs. Manages the Connection Intern Program
- Monitors employee referral program, organizing ERP process, including content, referral communication, and managing bonus requests.
- Coordinates HR-related programs onsite and virtually, including computer loan programs and volunteer time off programs (VTO).
- Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to execute recruitment processes and administration in alignment with business needs.
- Works with TA team to post accurate and engaging job postings for job boards, social media, and other internal/external sites.
- May coordinate interviews and meetings by working closely with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and staff across the organization.
- May carry out initial screening to obtain details on work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
- Partners with recruiters and the training department to ensure the successful handoff of finalist candidates from recruitment to the onboarding process.
- Prospects, organizes and prepares materials for career fairs, both onsite and virtual (may attend campus programs)
- Partners with Total Rewards department to develop recruiting collateral for candidates outlining Connection’s employer value proposition.
