Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Lab Finance Manager.Position Status: Full-time, Day ShiftPosition Location: This is an onsite position for the Norfolk area. Position will also perform hybrid schedule when required.Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).Position Summary:Position is responsible for the oversight, leadership and technical direction of system-level financial analysis. Facilitates answers to complex problems of a diverse scope where in-depth analysis and evaluation is required. Project management is broad in scope and involves multiple functional areas spanning all hospitals, divisions and service lines. Responsible for various operational and financial reporting areas across Sentara Healthcare. Provides oversight for the budget preparation and analysis for shared service functions and collaborates on system-wide budget analysis and presentations. Position will interface with various levels of management.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Level Degree Finance or Accounting
Five years of Finance/Accounting experience
Previous lab experience preferred
Previous Finance/Revenue experience preferred

Position will interface with various levels of management. CPA or Master's degree requiredThe lab finance manager will report to the Ambulatory Director of Finance. This role will be responsible for month end close analysis, the quarterly financial forecast, business development proposals, the annual capital budget, labor optimization and ad hoc analysis as needed. There will also be an opportunity to develop and implement new financial strategies for lab services across the system.
