- Demonstrates a working knowledge of sonographic imaging equipment and operation.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge and ability to produce sonographic images according to established protocols and interpreting physician guidelines.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of PACS and digital imaging procedures.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge and ability to provide sonographic imaging guidance for specialized studies, such as biopsies, thoracentesis, and others, as required.
- Demonstrates appropriate communication skills necessary to communicate with physicians, nursing and technical staffs, patients, families, and visitors.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of hospital and departmental safety policies and procedures.
