Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Azure solutions, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and security.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based solutions.
- Manage the migration of on-premise infrastructure to Azure, optimizing for performance, cost, and scalability. Work with app owners to design optimal business continuity/disaster recovery strategy.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of cloud services, implementing industry-leading cloud security measures.
- Monitor cloud environments, analyzing and optimizing costs, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in Azure services and technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.
- Design and administrative support for Azure IaaS services, conditional access policies, app integrations. Experience with Azure DevOps
- Mentor and lead teams in cloud best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work wisely to streamline / automate processes. (e.g. PowerAutomate/Apps)
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Azure.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles and Azure security tools.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and tools. (PowerShell, bicep, terraform, ARM)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Deep background in EntraID, SAML, SSO (B2B & B2C), managed identity and federated identity concepts.
- Experience with a variety of Azure resource types including Azure SQL, App Services, Container Apps, VM’s, Key Vaults, and App Configuration.
- Experience in a regulated environment and the ability to document and produce artifacts necessary to support audit and exam requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Azure certifications are highly desirable.
