The Night Auditor at Home 2 by Hilton Conway AR is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all financial and night audit duties. This position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service and maintaining the financial integrity of the hotel. The Night Auditor reports directly to the Front Office Manager and works closely with all other hotel departments.Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time, hourly position with a competitive rate of $14 per hour. The payment will be made biweekly. Employee benefits include flexible scheduling, career advancement opportunities, and a positive work environment.Responsibilities:
- Verify and balance all front desk paperwork in preparation for the day ahead
- Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to guest accounts, running necessary reports, and closing out departmental responsibilities
- Conduct proper night audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions, posting and balancing charges, and running necessary audit reports
- Respond to guest needs and inquiries in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, as well as any incoming reservations or modifications to existing reservations
- Monitor and ensure the safety and security of the building during the night shift
- Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager or General ManagerRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
