What You'll Do:
  • Position involves performing third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections
  • Perform plan reviews of commercial buildings, report review and preparation, preparation of budget proposals, and management of projects related to building system inspections
  • Other expectations include the ability to interact with senior staff members and mentor junior staff members
  • Additional responsibilities include marketing and business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
What We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalentA minimum of five years of experience in building inspection and code complianceB2 certification required plus at least one of the following: M2, E2, P2 * The ability to carry 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist heightMust be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed Who We Are:ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
