Overview:Amteck is seeking detail-oriented and proactive individuals to join our team as a QA/QC Coordinator within CORE Electrical. This internal opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvement in the field.As a QA/QC team member, you will play a key role in ensuring that all electrical installations meet company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. Perform inspections on electrical installations throughout construction phases.
Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and NEC standards.
Develop and maintain QA/QC checklists and documentation.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve non-conformances or deficiencies.
Support the preparation and completion of turnover packages.
Conduct audits and assist in third-party inspections as needed.
Maintain quality records and generate reports on QA/QC activities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in electrical construction (field or supervision preferred).
Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and construction standards.
Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and documentation processes. (Can Train)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, and management.
Certifications such as State Electrical License, Amteck NEC, OSHA 30, NCCER, or QA/QC-related credentials (preferred but not required). Will need to obtain missing certifications, time frame TBD.
