- Analyze clients' financial situations and gather relevant information to create tailored financial plans.
- Financial Planning:
- Develop and implement customized financial strategies that align with clients' short-term and long-term objectives.
- Recommend suitable investment products, insurance solutions, retirement plans, and estate planning options.
- Investment Management:
- Monitor clients' investment portfolios, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and emerging investment opportunities.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support, including regular portfolio reviews and performance updates.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on clients' financial performance and progress toward their goals.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Participate in networking events and marketing initiatives to attract potential clients.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on financial products, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.
- Pursue relevant certifications and professional development opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Series 65 license preferred; additional relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a financial advisor or in a related financial services role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial planning software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- In-depth knowledge of investment strategies and financial products.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management tools.
- This position will be based in our Carlsbad office, with opportunities for remote work as appropriate. Some travel may be required for client meetings and networking events.
- Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus commissions, bonuses, and benefits.
