
Data Science Specialist / Product Owner

- Partner with key stakeholders to understand the business opportunities and translate high-level ideas into data-driven analytics solutions
- Manage prioritization and optimize resource allocation based on business impacts
- Establish and maintain demand management processes and integration with other teams
- Guiding the product team to iteratively develop quick, customer centric solutions
- Leverage domain expertise, statistical analysis and AI/ML modeling to optimize the process, ensure timely value delivery, and proactively improve quality and efficiency
- Providing technical guidance on high quality of work and best practices
- Supporting team growth, talent acquisition, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment
- Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling, mathematical programming, AI/ML and statistical analysis
- 2+ years of experience in deploying data products and analytic models in Google Cloud Platform
- Comfortable working in an environment where problems are not always well-defined
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to engage with all levels
- Well-organized, independent, and ready to work with minimal supervision
- Have a desire to excel and work with talented people
- Experience in cloud computing such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven experience with developing digital products/solutions to support analytic applications in Ford's data ecosystem
- 3+ years of experience with Product Driven Operating Model or Agile Product Development Process
- 3+ years of domain experience in delivering analytics solutions in vehicle regulatory compliance
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Ability to analyze complex problems and break them down into smaller, actionable items
- Inquisitive, proactive, and interested in learning new tools and techniques
