In this armed and driving post, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response drills and participate in training sessions relevant to the armed patrol post.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess a valid TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • This position is primarily a driving post; a valid driver's license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
