Operate Machine that performs a package wrapping function. Set guides, adjust for speed, and is responsible for product being fed in and shrink wrapped.SKILL REQUIREMENT:Abilities to use computer in window environmentMechanical aptitude to use tools to make proper adjustments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ROBOT OPERATOR) INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, WHILE OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.Use computer / windows for communication with robotsEnter correct MOA # into robot and test machine.Ensure that correct suction cups are on & clean.Monitor belt tracking and tray drop speed.Clean rods and vacuum cups as necessary.Set up and change Tray De-nester parts, and supply with trays.Assure that the robots are accurately placing candy into trays by making placement adjustments.Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP), Policies, and GMP’s.Assure adherence to Food Safety Requirements and Work Instructions.Correct minor problems with robot cells, and tray De-nesting operations.Maintain communication with operators and leads for smooth line operation.Perform HACCP checksSupply material as necessaryInstruct service & set up persons, for scheduled candy on beltsRecord non-standard trays for return to vendor.Update manual with robot set ups.Inventory robot parts, suction cups, etc. and order as needed.Train new employees and back-ups as required.Maintain home department in a clean and orderly manner.Comply with all safety policies, report safety violations, and attend safety meetings.Perform other related work duties as requested by Leader / Supervisor.Required to work until end of production shift daily.Perform scheduled preventive maintenanceClean belts as necessaryReport problems regarding food safety to supervisor or manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (SHRINK WRAP OPERATOR) INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, WHILE OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.Setup and check overall operation, to ensure proper wrapping, including film size, loading and threading of machine, and record downtime, plow selection, probe location and recipe selection.Check and set up Domino and proper day code, adjust UPC machine, belts, rails and location of stickers.Control line speed and turn line on / off as directed by Leader or Auto-line operator.Heat tunnel set up and operation, temp and conveyor speed.Fill and adjust pad De-nester.Communicate information and instruct base people and pad holder as needed.Signal to determine switch of positions on line.Perform machine and product changeover.Troubleshoot shrink package quality, complete issues and make necessary adjustment in a timely manner.Assist in set up and adjustment of base label machine to ensure use of correct label and placement and the domino with proper day code and placement on base,Assist in the fill and refill of label roll stock for the base label machine.Perform routine equipment preventive maintenance.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: NoneADDITIONAL DUTIES:Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).Clean machine if smashes occur & keep free of melted chocolate.Inspect, prepare and feed stack off to rewrap.Record downtime and scrap accurately.Train new employees as required.Comply with all safety policies, report safety violations, and attend safety meetings.Report problems regarding food safety to supervisor or manager.Maintain home department in a clean and orderly manner.Perform other related work duties as requested by Leader / Supervisor.Required to work until end of production shift daily.Supply materials as necessary.Job requirements are subject to change according to Business NeedsQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
