- BA / BS degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Criminal Justice, or similar area of study preferred.
- Ability to ensure all activities comply with FLETC policies and procedures.
- Possess, at a minimum, three (3) consecutive years of experience within the last five years, as a senior level manager or supervisor in a related field of comparable magnitude (management, administrative staff, and over 100 part-time employees).
- Previous leadership experience in law enforcement or military training center with knowledge of FLETC's training programs, role-playing methodologies, and the principles of adult learning.
- Effective communicator who maintains clear and effective communication with government leaders, instructors, role players, and other stakeholders.
- Experienced financial manager responsible for managing program budget and supply chain.
- 5 or more years of experience in personnel management with the ability to hire and retain a fully staffed team including full-time and part-time employees.
- Ability to facilitate scenario development, assign role players to scenarios, manage role player training and preparation, ensure coverage for training exercises, and coordinate schedules for both role players and trainers.
- Ability to pass a National Agency Background Check with Local Agency Checks and Inquiries (NACLC) or a more in-depth investigation.
- Government Secret or higher security clearance preferred.
