- Maintains standard production objectives through proper machine operation and records production, accurately.
- Makes necessary machine adjustments to maintain consistent machine operation and product quality in terms of customer specifications (i.e., bottle height, volumetric, top-load, visual defects, section weights, finish dimensions, etc.).
- Performs quality assurance tests using appropriate measuring devices and basic math skills and enters resultant data into the REAL SPC computer system, and has authority to stop production due to quality issues.
- Has authority to stop machines/production to communicate machine or equipment problems and breakdowns to Shift Supervisor/Shift Lead or Shift Maintenance Mechanic.
- Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as trained during the various safety-related training programs. Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and managers/supervisors. Properly uses all personal protective equipment.
- Maintains housekeeping of all assigned areas and document in the REAL SPC program. This includes applying Good Manufacturing Practices to meet plant goals.
- Performs other related duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor/Production Manager/Site Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
- MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A FORKLIFT in a safe, but proficient manner. Must be able to do so for a 12-hour period.
- Supply necessary raw materials to production as needed.
- Remove finished goods from production area and put production tickets on pallets and store in proper place in warehouse.
- Must be able to operate SAP Computer System in order to tag finished product and be knowledgeable of what material is needed.
- Must be able to stack finished product in warehouse in a neat manner.
- Must be able to maintain and use basic trouble shooting skills to keep strappers, handle applicators, wrapper and conveyor in operation.
- Must be able to load and unload trucks.
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift.
- Must be able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment that can change instantly.
- Must be able to work safely and in a very tight production area.
- Must willingly accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Shift Supervisor.

- Must maintain clean work environment by following established Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintains standard production objectives through proper machine operation and records production, accurately running 3 pieces of equipment.
- Able to bring hoist up and down.
- Bring a pallet in and exit the pallet out.
- Change out tier sheet bin.
- Move the trolly in and out.
- Pick up a tier sheet and top frame.
- Operate the pin rake.
- Rack a layer.
- Move the pushers.
- Clear initial faults and investigate causes of the fault.

- Must willingly accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Shift Supervisor.

- Those employees with authorized training, have the ability to shut down / stop equipment if continued operation is a threat to any employee’s health and safety.
- Stop production for unacceptable quality.
- Quarantine out-of-specification products, materials, or supplies.
- Authority to make process adjustments.
- Experience in a fast-moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred.
- Forklift certification may be required.
- Ability to recognize and understand numbers, values, and enters this information into an on-line database accurately.
- A strong mathematical ability is essential.
- Ability to visually distinguish fine variations in color and other visual defects.
