- Support the TC Engineering team in all aspects of target design, analysis, and test to include requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis and reporting
- Technical focus areas include creation and maintenance of Interface Control Documents, expert analysis of target reentry and launch vehicle system design, and ensuring engineering rigor applied to failure review boards.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts across multiple technical areas to develop engineering analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
- Review the proposed designs of electrical systems and components for target missile systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and system integrations
- Innovate and implement solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance standards
- Develop and execute test plans, analyzing test results to identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems with other components in the target missile system
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns
- Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and target missile systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of target missile system design and performance
- All other duties as assigned
- Masters in STEM field with a strong preference for Electrical Engineering
- 12+ years' experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD program / project
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Active Secret Clearance
- Travel may be required
